Kona...I survived!

Well, I survived! Wow, that was a lot harder than I expected, and at times it was extremely ugly. 10:42, and my apologies to anyone who give an extremity or the like for a time like that. It's hard to imagine I was out there about 2 hours longer than normal!

I arrived back in San Diego last night, and will be posting a race report soon. In the meantime, here is an awesome photo of me from the event, on the Queen K, courtesy of Rich Cruse, one of the best photographers in the sport!

That's an awesome photo man. Your bike is HAWT, as is your color coordinated getup - you look like a frickin' pro :P

GLAD TO SEE YOU FINISHED ON YOUR TRAINING DAY.... TALKING ABOUT CLASS - YOU SHOULD GO BACK TO TEACHING BECAUSE THAT IS AS CLOSE TO IT AS YOU WILL EVER GET. AS A PRO YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAN TO VOCALIZE YOUR DISLIKES FOR OTHER ATHLETES ON A BLOG. YOU ARE WORSE THAN NORMAN - AT LEAST HE HAS THE KONA HARDWARE TO STAND BEHIND. YOU ARE PRETTY DISRESPECTFUL TO THE SPORT AND PEOPLE WHO ARE HELPING PAVE THE WAY FOR THE YOUNGER GENERATON INOUR SPORT. MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY WRITING SOMETHING NICE ABOUT MACCA SINCE HE WON THIS YEAR WITH BOTH GRACE AND CLASS. SOMEDAY IF YOU SHOULD EVER WIN A BIG RACE AND NOT JUST MAKE UP EXCUSES FOR YOUR LACK OF PERFORMANCE, MAYBE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE A LITTLE CLASS.

SEE YA IN HAWAII SHOULD YOU EVER QUALIFY AGAIN.

Wow, impressive to come on a blog and sound so strong in your beliefs, but not have the courage to show your identity. What a big man you are. And sorry, I didn't realize I wasn't allowed to have an opinion on Macca's inmature actions. Maybe if you spoon-fed my own thoughts, I would be cooler. Stick around, because my opinions are only going to get bigger and better.

And if you want to see what an athlete I am, here's my race schedule next year, IMAZ and Kona. Feel free to toe the line against me either time. You said "see ya in Hawaii", so please let me know if you're in the race, big guy.

PS - 8:37:09, what's your PR?
